Museo del Carnaval..went on March 16th, 2009

On January 5th and 6th the festival of the Carnaval de Blancos y Negros take place. The museum has samples of several of the floats.....absolutely gorgeous floats made from paper mache!


Here I took a picture of the back to demonstrate the use paper.

This was just an eye of the beautiful mask.....hey how did they get in there, lol
